Boat Installation
Step 1
Check the boat for any sharp objects that would wear and protrude on the cover. The Boat Covers have extra reinforcing over the windscreen, outboard, aft corners and bow areas, for any other areas ensure these are protected to ensure a long lasting life of the cover.
Step 2
Place the cover over the boat with the label “Front” on the bow.
Step 3
Use the three tie downs with hooks on the aft. Two can be hooked around the trailer and the centre strap around the outboard.
Step 4
Pull both draw strings in evenly and tie off around either the outboard or the trailer. Always ensure this draw string is tight to prevent wind flapping the cover causing abrasion.
Step 5
Install tie downs along each side of cover. One end is fastened on to the cover. Loop male end of the strap under the trailer and back into the female buckle. After installation of straps cut excess length to avoid flapping on side of the hull.
Now that your cover is fitted correctly please ensure the following steps are taken to look after the cover.
Cover Care
Avoid towing with the cover on, this will put stress on seams. Pad any abrasion areas. If not using the cover, ensure it is dry before storing. Always ensure tie down straps are tight to prevent water pooling in the middle of cover.
